No! You can have as many devices accessing the site as you want. There are no additional costs for multiple devices.
Yes! There are various different ways to achieve this. You can have unique “Landing Pages” that are all connected to the same content or you can have completely unique sites. Furthermore, you can embed folders from other sites on your own site. Please contact us for more details.
Yes - we love feature requests! We will ask you for ideas of how to improve our platform and then build everything you suggest. Some of your feature requests might even launch the same day that you request them. It is a truly fun & exciting collaborative experience to make you happy!
The site can be ready in under an hour. Data upload typically takes a day or more depending on amount and complexity.
Internet access is required for initial setup and continuous use. However, if you have spotty or slow internet connection, this should not be an issue. The content is downloaded to the device after the initial load, so even if the internet temporarily goes out, it will continue working. When you add new information, the internet is required to pull in this new information from the cloud.
Yes! Rocket has a 24/7 live chat feature that has an average response time of 15 seconds. You may call us or email us any time as well! We don’t sleep much. Yes, we offer 24/7 unlimited support for every user. You are allowed an unlimited number of users. As needed, we will provide 1 on 1 Zoom or phone calls to walk through the software. Additionally, we have many training videos on our website too. We work incredibly hard every night to improve the admin experience on our platform. Most new users find the site extremely intuitive and do not take advantage of our 24/7 unlimited support – but we are always excited to help!
No! Our system will automatically crop and resize any types of images. Our layouts automatically adapt to look great no matter what you upload.
This ease of use will blow your mind as this technology truly makes things sooooo easy!
No, it’s password protected, but we can provide credentials to however many admins/interns/students as you'd like to manage the site.We use industry standard security protocols to protect any bad actors from editing your site without permission.
Yes, the Rocket website is simply put in full-screen kiosk mode. We also offer bundled packages. Our bundled packages include Elo touch screen monitors. However, you may feel free to use any hardware you would like. The Rocket system is simply a website that is put into full screen mode. Thus, you can even test run a sample site on any existing hardware you have. Many schools also utilize iPads around the school or within museum locations.
Touchwindow is Rocket’s preferred touchscreen vendor. We have put together “Plug & Play” bundles that make everything streamlined and easy. When you use one of the “Plug & Play” bundles, the setup time once you have the touch screen mounted should be 5-10 minutes.
We recommend self-install by your facilities, IT, or custodial personnel. This is very manageable, like mounting a TV on the wall. To date, we have not had any school run into issues with the mounting or installation process.
Typical hardware considerations:
- A power outlet will be needed to plug in hardware (Touchscreen TV, computer, etc)
- Wired ethernet is recommended if possible, but is not required.
The answer depends on your budget and scope of the project. For projects in the $1k-5k range, we typically recommend that you work with you local design shop that you have done a wall wrap, signs, or banners with before. If nobody comes to mind, we can introduce you to some of our partners.
